The Resolution Jazz Group began in 1994 when pianist Darius Scott sought to combine the diverse experiences of some of Maryland and DC's finest musicians to produce a unique musical presentation.
The group focuses on straight ahead jazz performing music of composers like Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, Bill Evans, John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock along with their own compositions and arrangements of jazz standards.
Whether the venue is a nightclub, a coffee house or a private party, The Resolution Jazz Group creates an uplifting mood and grabs the audience through the music.
